Our Camps
![]() This is Truly a Fisherman's Paradise and the fishing is, in fact, incredible! The camp, located on the Nushagak River which flows into the Bristol Bay, is a short distance to the ocean. The Wilderness Camp is one of the Prettiest, Remote Locations in Alaska.
The Nushagak is Filled with Fresh Salmon, Chinook's ( Kings ), Chum's, Sockeye (Red's), Coho or Silver's, and Pink's or Humpback's.
In our Clear Water we have Large Rainbow's, Grayling, Northern Pike, and Sea run Dollies. You can see the fish leaving the river and going up the streams.
Our Chinooks (Kings) run at 20-50 lb.
Chum run 7-14 lb.
Sockeye (Reds) run 7-14 lb..
Coho (Silvers) run 7-15 lb.
We have caught Rainbow in the 12 lb. range, Pike to 22 lb., right near our camp.
For the Sportsman (Hunter) that would like to fish for Coho-Silvers and shoot a couple Caribou, The Malchatna Caribou herd of 200,000+ swim the river right at our camp, throughout the month of August. We have an unguided Fishing-Hunting Trip just for you.

Transportation
Our guests can fly by Commercial Flights from your area to Dillingham, Alaska via Anchorage, Alaska. From Dillingham you can fly to Ekwok Alaska on a Bush Plane. We will pick you up in Ekwok and Jet Boat you to Camp. For those that want a Float Plane, you can Land right at the Fishing Fever Camp. Ask for our preferred flights!
Clothing
It is an understatement that the weather in Alaska is unpredictable. Conditions may vary from day to day. It is advisable to exercise considerable care in selecting appropriate clothes.
Our temperature can change from the 40's to the 70's. Along with your warm clothing, be sure to bring good rain gear and a hat. It is recommended to bring waders with warm socks.
Fishing gear
Bring whatever type that you are familiar with and prefer to use.
Spinning and Bait Casting gear should include a Medium to Medium Heavy action Rods and Reels capable to hold 25-30 LB line during King Season. Also a light duty action that will handle line up to 15 LB . For the Fly Fisherman a 9 or 10 weight Fly Rod with a Reel that has a good Disk Drag, a 100 yard backup line.
Spin and Cast for Red's and Coho-Silvers, we recommend Light to Medium action up to 15lb.Test. A Fly Rod 4 to 7 Weight.
We recommend that you bring back-up line, a supply of terminal gear including swivels and lures.
